The 54-year-old gaffer will be glad to get back into management after being sacked by Everton last year following a series of poor team performances. Koeman enjoyed a successful spell with the National team in his time as a player, winning 86 caps as well as the Euros in 1988.

He has signed a four-year-contract with Netherlands and with their failure to qualify for Russia 2018, the focus instead will be on Qatar 2022.
